Which plan should I choose?

Start with Trial to test the full product for 14 days without entering payment details. It includes REST, live WebSockets and verified prediction-market data, with trial-sized usage limits. Your trial begins when you verify your email address.

Choose Basic when your application can request scores on demand or check an active fixture every 10–15 seconds. Its 25,000 monthly requests are designed to cover roughly one 30-fixture event month with room for fixture/team lookups and normal retries. It is a good fit for hobby projects, research, small scoreboards and early product ideas.

Choose Pro when your application needs score and prediction-market changes to arrive automatically. The WebSocket feed is the better choice for trading dashboards, alerts and live user experiences because it avoids constant polling. Pro also includes 100,000 REST requests for initial loads, history, development and recovery, plus verified prediction-market data.

Pricing questions

Is the annual price really two months free?

Yes. Basic is $5 monthly or $50 yearly. Pro is $10 monthly or $100 yearly.

Is there a permanent free plan?

No. There is one 14-day Pro trial for each verified account. After the trial, choose a paid plan to keep access.

Will I be charged extra if traffic suddenly rises?

No. Basic and Pro have hard usage limits. When a limit is reached, requests return an error instead of creating overage charges.

How far will 25,000 requests go?

A Major League Pickleball event month contains roughly 30 fixtures. Polling in-progress fixtures once a minute and each actively-watched fixture's live endpoint every 10–15 seconds uses roughly 10,000–16,000 requests across the month, leaving room for fixture/team lookups and retries. Your exact usage depends on how many fixtures you actively follow.

Do page views each count as an API request?

They should not. Call Pickleball API from your server, cache the response and serve your own users from that cache. This protects your key and lets one upstream request support many page views.

Does every WebSocket update also count as a REST request?

No. WebSocket messages use the separate live-message allowance. REST requests count only when your application calls a REST endpoint.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Manage upgrades, payment methods and cancellation through the customer portal.

All new accounts begin with the same free 14-day trial, and no credit card is required. Basic and Pro use hard limits, which means the service stops additional usage rather than adding an unexpected bill. Paid plans can be cancelled through the customer portal at any time. Scores are supplied for display and analysis and are not an official settlement source.
